Saeragi

Recently we went on vacation to the Western Province of Solomon Islands. Because there are so many beautiful islands, we toured the province, snorkelling from Gizo down to Seghe... well, figuratively. We didn't actually snorkel the whole way: we took boats. But needless to say, we had a lot of fun in and on top of the water.

First stop was a lovely Eco Lodge in Saeragi, on the tip of Ghizo island.

beautiful white sand beach. There aren't many beautiful white sand beaches here. They tend to be small, or crowded with trees on either side, or dirty, or black sand or stones. But Saeragi had a beautiful white sand beach.

lovely snorkelling at the nearby Jari island.
